Onesait Utilities Metering is a multi-utility solution that allows collection, storage, treatment, certificating and exporting measurement data (electricity, water or gas) to the utility from different information sources. Onesait Utilities Metering is a multi-utility solution that allows collection, storage, treatment, certificating and exporting measurement data (electricity, water or gas) to the utility from different information sources. It serves as a common inventory that unifies field data for Utilities’ corporate systems.

Onesait Utilities Metering is Minsait ACS’s multi-utility solution for management, certificating and exporting measurement data (electricity, water, gas, etc.) to any utility from many different information data sources (HES, MDC, HHU, etc.); validation, estimation, edition (VEE) and management of the measures with advanced functions for data analysis and forecasting. It serves as a common inventory that unifies field data for utilities’ corporate systems, as well.

  • Great scalability that allows utilities to store, manage, exploit and export data with both proprietary and open technologies.

OPERATIONAL FLOW

The logical execution process of Metering is based on these three mainlines:

  • Data Collection: manual or scheduled data acquisition through various protocols and technologies, from different data sources
  • Data Management: involves all the VEE process to complete and certify data
  • Share Data: exchange of data with downstream corporate systems 

Measure Management

Measure Management

MDM chooses among all available measures from different data sources in order to certify which is the best value available and discern whether it is valid or not, by means of different user defined business rules that certify the measure quality according to those pre-configured criteria.

MDM provides all required information to third-party systems for its exploitation, through different gap estimation procedures and forecasting processes, so inferring future business needs to be covered. Once these processes are completed, MDM ensures the availability of gap-free load profiles.

MDM meets any business needs, being able to perform a wide variety of calculation algorithms, as well as managing different market billing models, through billing simulation.

MDM allows Utilities group the different points geographically, by interest groups, companies, etc. in order to automatize operations within the system, e.g. forecast demand of aggregated consumers, consumer typology characterization through their consumption profiles.

MDM allows Utilities to have a comprehensive control of energy flows across all the distribution network, supporting energy balancing as main mechanism to search for losses and irregular usages, analyzing customer behavior based on historical data and other external variables.

AUDITABILITY

Metering saves all data in a central repository allowing utilities to monitor and audit such information, so enabling status and documentation monitoring of each and every asset in the system. Metering ensures traceability of any user and system actions in order to gain sooner resolution of possible incidents and carry out best market practices.  

KPIs

Metering shows the user a quick view of the system status by different dynamic dashboards and configurable reports, which summarize the most important and valuable information. The following are some convenient KPIs, monitored in our system:  

  • % Valid vs. Invalid Measures
  • % Estimated measures per billing period
  • % Closed vs. Open incidents
  • Incidents average resolution time

  • % Real source vs. calculated BTV measures
  • Positive Irregular consumption candidates
